In November, we were invited to the Include conference in Detroit to showcase the work we have been doing on inclusively designed home adaptations.
Include is a biennial international conference that focuses on issues central to inclusive and people-centred design.
Include was hosted for the first time in America, by College for Creative Studies and Design Core Detroit and was produced by the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design at the Royal College of Art (RCA).
We were invited to attend the conference by the Royal College of Art’s Helen Hamlyn Centre and given the opportunity to share the work Invisible Creations has been doing as a case study of best practice for inclusive design. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback and we will be continuing to work with RCA as we develop our designs further.
